This is album is an invitation on a mesmerizing journey through the audial realms of nostalgia and experimentation. Project which painstakingly composed and recorded between July and September of 2022, is a sonic testament to the creative potential of a single vintage instrument—the Casiotone 403 keyboard from 1982.

In an age of digital perfection, this album stands as a homage to the analog realm. Every recording in "Casiotone 403" begins its life on magnetic tape, with the artist utilizing reel-to-reel and cassette recorders to weave a tapestry of sound. It's a process that pays homage to the origins of musique concrète, where the raw and organic textures of analog media become the foundation for aural exploration.

The resulting compositions are a testament to the remarkable character of the Casiotone 403. This vintage keyboard, with its quirks and idiosyncrasies, is brought to life in a mesmerizing fashion. Each track feels like a conversation with a bygone era, and I tried to masterfully harnesses the unique personality of this instrument to create otherworldly soundscapes.

What sets "Casiotone 403" apart from the rest of my proejcts, is the meticulous approach to sound manipulation. After the analog recordings, I deep dived into the digital realm, subjecting the tapes to extensive processing and manipulation. The result is an auditory adventure where sound is sculpted, deconstructed, and reassembled into a new sonic reality, spanning the genres of musique concrète, Ambient Industrial, tape music, ambient, dark ambient noise, among others. The music seamlessly flows from the organic warmth of analog tape to the boundary-pushing possibilities of the digital world.

The album's subtitle, "A Musique Concrète Approach," is a fitting description of the experience it offers. Each track feels like an experiment, where sound is dissected and reconstructed, often transcending the boundaries of traditional composition. It's an audacious dive into the realm of sonic exploration, evoking both a sense of nostalgia and an anticipation of what the future holds.
